Lingard posted a fresh video on his Instagram which contained behind-the-scenes footage of a trick video he shared a week ago on Instagram which garnered more than 50 million views and broke the internet. In the new post, he wrote in the caption: "CGI behind the scenes video out now!! Take a look into how we broke the internet."

In collaboration with Vertex CGI, the 32-year-old FC Seoul forward posted a clip on Instagram of him appearing to fire a football toward a huge structure, held up by a ribbon. The fiercely-struck ball then undid the said ribbon and two golden hands, in the style of Lingard's famous celebration, appear. Several fans at that time called out the English star for faking the feat, although, tagging Vertex CGI was sort of a giveaway.
