Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after Matteo Guendouzi was linked with a return to French champions Paris Saint-Germain, as reported by the Express.
The 19-year-old midfielder used to be on the Parisians’ books as a six-year-old, spending nine years at the Parc des Princes, before moving to Lorient.
The Gunners snatched the teenager up back in the summer, and the frizzy-haired Frenchman has impressed in midfield for Unai Emery, displaying maturity and confidence beyond his years.
Now, PSG have reportedly been scouting the France Under-21 star with a view to bringing him back to the French capital, although it will reportedly take a £60m offer to do so as per the aforementioned article.
Emery has only been handed limited funds to spend on reinforcements in the summer, so the sale of Guendouzi could help free up some cash, although Arsenal fans on Twitter aren’t too keen on the idea…
