Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam has claimed that Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah is not good enough to represent either Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Salah has scored 37 times in 42 appearances in all competitions during a remarkable 2017-18 campaign at Liverpool.
The Egypt international’s form has led to suggestions that La Liga’s two giants want to bring him to Spain in this summer’s transfer window.

However, Adam, who represented Liverpool for one season following a move from Blackpool in 2011, has claimed that Salah would not get a game at Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Adam told talkSPORT:
“Where’s he going to go? It’s difficult for him, where does he go? Will he get a game at Real Madrid? Will he get a game at Barcelona? I don’t think he would. I think he will stay there.”
Salah, who is valued at £72m by transfermarkt.co.uk, struggled to make his mark in the Premier League whilst representing Chelsea, but a successful spell at Roma saw the attacker given another crack at the English game.
The 25-year-old has managed 29 goals in 31 league matches for Liverpool this season, and will be looking to make an impression in the club’s upcoming Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City.
